What's the cheapest way to get a flight in a private jet?

Get a job which will take you out for a spin on a private jet. you will get paid for it then. Result!
My Dad got a ride in one for work not because he is fancy or has a highfalutin job, but because they were buying something from a rural supplier miles from anything other than a tiny airport, and they flew them out there on a private jet from the big city. So, yeah, get a job like that and work in it for thirty years for that one small perk.

I fly pa28's and 172's if you class that as private or is it the fancyness you want. I can bring Pringles
Whats a 172? Only 172 I know is which doesnt look very plane like!As regards the PA28 the OP asked for private jet. I am unsure about flying in something small, although I suppose its easier to understand how it stays in the air when its small!
Worked for Flexjet (like Netjets but owned by Bombardier who make the LearJets) in the late 1990's when they tried to launch their fractional ownership into the UK.
Flew multiple times on a Lear31a, Lear60 and Challenger 601.
Met some very fancy sports folks (golf and F1) and some city bigwigs too.
Out of this world experience, when you land the ground handling company didn't know you were on a freebie with the firm, a real insight into how the rich and famous get treated.
Best bit?... they go like stink. Performance take off from Heathrow late at night (they only allowed so many private plane movements each day and they tended to be non peak hours) over london was immense.
