It looks like HMS PWLS may well be heading back out to sea tomorrow afternoon (Friday 30th).
Any more news on QE departing? Do we think this is going to be a double whammy photo opportunity given rumours were suggesting a Sat departure?QNLZ will initially be heading north towards Scotland/ E/N.Atlantic before her globe trotting trip for Joint Warrior/Strike Warrior, so perhaps some (in-house) photo opportunities might happen in the Channel en route?
Sat, so we can cheer her on from the garden. Now just keeping an eye on the usual sources for a firmer time. I note now the the QHM now only shows movements for a day in advance, not two.

At the very real risk of talking to myself, some may be interested to know that the Royal Navy now has two carriers qualified to operate the F35B.
Nope, you carry on, your input is always valued and appreciated. Now, after all the sunshine blowing, when can you get me onboard for a tour? I feel I’ve counted most of the rivets as she parks outside my door when she’s home.Cold said:
She welcomed some angry sounding guests the other day. 4 Regiment Army Air Corps are on board.
She's leaving tomorrow evening for further trials/training and should be passing the Round Tower around 9PM.
I saw these embarking Saturday evening. Wouldn’t happen on a Saturday if it was the RAF She's leaving tomorrow evening for further trials/training and should be passing the Round Tower around 9PM.

What happened to the half harrier she left with on deck??
It probably got wheeled below decks. It's presumed to be XV786 from Culdrose and is being used for pilot rescue training and suchlike. As usual, if anyone knows for certain feel free to correct and update.

No idea of the side number but we (they) got it last year to provide greater realism for the deck crews in dealing with aviation emergencies.
Apparently cutting up active F35s is frowned upon so this is the next best thing!
