BRG is a Q color, so has a premium of about Euro 5K over here I think? Interior options would be even more I think, so expect a premium of 15-20K in total?
Aston Martin Racing Green not BRG, there's a big difference in shade.Presumably this is the latest AM Cambridge special with all the interior & exterior details (if you like that kind of thing) and a big presentation party for all the lucky buyers (if you like that kind of thing)!
great quote from aston's chief marketing officer
''My favourite element on the ‘DBS 59’ are the seat backs''
I wonder how many years at marketing school he had to come up with that gem, it must be nice to know that you are driving about in a stunning car and when you stop people will be flocking over to look at the seat backs

.... out of interest how much is a well spec'ed dbs ?
I know , if I have to ask i cannot afford it!
Not sure but according to Autocar then they are from £225k but when I had my test I am sure I was told the car, with extras, would cost around £270k. May be wrong but it will be in that sort of ballpark depending on your spec.I know , if I have to ask i cannot afford it!

Another paint and stickers edition
Wow, you could not be more wrong. The level of detail that these special projects by AM Cambridge do is absolutely incredible. And I feel it should be mentioned that this is still an AM Cambridge project, not sure why the marketing stuff says it's Aston Martin's baby as I know Simon has curated this new DBS59 from the start.
If you want to see just how much detail goes into these projects take a look at the video in this thread - I can't link directly to the video as I'll get told off by PH (it's my ugly mug presenting) but you'll see it in the first post:

Just note down a few of the key mechanical changes over standard for us then please. This car is paint, leather and a set of logo embroidered blue overalls special.

Ah PH, as abrupt as ever. This car is paint, leather and a set of logo embroidered blue overalls special.
No you're quite correct that there are no mechanical changes. My point is that it's not just 'paint and stickers', that's a very dismissive comment that does a disservice to the hundreds of hours that go into every one of these special Q creations.
Custom made helmet pods for the rear seats (removable), custom printed leather headlining, bronze badges and detailing, the aforementioned seat backs, honestly the list goes on. I'm sure Simon might pop in to put his views across too.
These things should be celebrated, not derided. And to be clear these are Q-Specials by AM Cambridge, not a DBS special edition, if that makes sense.
These special editions are not for everyone, but for a few they are, well, special. Myself I've quite liked each one of the 4 variants Simon Lane has created, this latest edition, well, just takes my breath away. I cannot wait to see one in the flesh.
Not in itself enough reason to want to possess one but rest assured, each one of these DBS 59's is an investment, in the same way the previous editions have proved to be. So in that regard they have a certain attraction too.
