Re the 6 wheeled brake van - yes it was behind the Stirling Single in 1982 - there are some You Tube videos showing it. I will try to find out more. It may well have ended up behind Loughborough Locomotive shed at some time.

Notes Six-wheel Thompson non-gangwayed passenger brake. P 1978 by RVP member. Restored to non-original BR maroon 1979. Ran 1981-90, then fell into disuse. Sold to RVP and extensively rebuilt (including full outer reskin)- winning Transport Trust award in 2003.
