RE: Princess Yachts R35: Driven

I love boats & therefore approve of the article.
More of this please.
Currently in Puerto Pollensa where there is usually a tasty array of the floating kind.
Alas, they are digging up the pavement on one side of the marina so not as many as usual. Will have a proper look around tomorrow to make sure.

The old adage is very true....the two happiest days in your life are the day you buy your boat...and the day you sell your boat.
A lovely thing, but much like a caravan or motor home, unless you use it on a regular basis, it’s just a huge waste of money....

Really? I hear this frequently said, but never hear it explained. I don't know what sort of boats you've been buying, but I couldn't disagree moreThe only person who'd say this is either not into the water/ocean (in which case, why buy a boat?) or bought a lemon (in which case the which sentiment could be applied to any purchase).
I'd put boat (and I'd include PWC) ownership head and shoulders above pretty much any purchase I've made. They're awesome fun.
Not my cup of tea, but lovely boat and great article by the way!

"The world of marine performance is still waiting for such a vehicle; a vessel which is straightforward to manoeuvre around a marina, comfortable and practical, yet can also allow enthusiasts without experience in the World Powerboat Championship a taste of genuine waterborne prowess"
I spent time in a Sea Ray recently and it seemed to be more than adequate. Would love to know how this moves the game on.
Just look at the thing and stop being such a Derek!I spent time in a Sea Ray recently and it seemed to be more than adequate. Would love to know how this moves the game on.

Nice looking thing but would prefer this.
Metamarine Montecarlo 48
1880 hp (yes, that is not a typo) from twin SEATEK 940 TNTs
82+ Knots (not a typo either). And still cheaper, far more exclusive and far easier on the eye than a Senna
Bellissimo
That’s the ticket! Much quicker & more phallic!Metamarine Montecarlo 48

Witty, yet hilariously unoriginal rash financial advice doled out by those not in the know.
Here’s another for people to repeat at the social club bar; “Boats are are like strippers. They both stop working after you stop throwing money at them.”
