Corbyn actually sounding intelligent, genuinely interested and in touch with the issue at hand? Colour me astounded.
I genuinely think he is one of the best politicians we have.

As a Shadow Canals Minister he might do some good, but as Leader of the Opposition he's utterly useless and as PM he'd be bloody dangerous.

He doesn't appear to have the bullish confidence to head a election pr machine against the like of bojo I will give you, but why in any way would he be dangerous as PM where had that come from?

Errr. Much as I love a political bun fight, this is a thread about boats rather than Johnson v Corbyn.

Corbyn is a puppet? As opposed to Boris presumably?

Wanting to give 10% of any company with over 250 staff to the employees is economic terrorism!

No, just a supporter.
Not everyone on the terraces at Craven Cottage is a footballist.

Know nothing about boats & canals (except I rather like both), but that stiff British bking by the plastic boat owner is outstanding.

That video should be put on the TV as an advert for the British. Love it! biglaugh

However the entire situation could have been avoided by the guy not going for the mooring as he did see that the narrowboat heading that way, even if the other guy did not have the right of way as such,

I'm sure that if he'd known he was going to be rammed he would have conceded the place, yes. If someone beats you to a car parking space you have to be a psycho to ram his car.

I suspect Mr Heywood is used to getting his own way by bullying; the cruiser owner not only stood up to him but put him firmly in the public spotlight. Note the way Heywood rewrote the event to his advantage in his subsequent piece so he could take a win.

It is sad, because we buy boats to get away from the 'madding crowd' and cocks like this - but just sometimes you find they are there too.

Was looking round a narrow boat yesterday, the seller making a big thing about it being a Steve Heywood boat. Put me right off. Then realised the different spelling of Heywood / Haywood. hehe
