I'm sure that if he'd known he was going to be rammed he would have conceded the place, yes. If someone beats you to a car parking space you have to be a psycho to ram his car.

I suspect Mr Heywood is used to getting his own way by bullying; the cruiser owner not only stood up to him but put him firmly in the public spotlight. Note the way Heywood rewrote the event to his advantage in his subsequent piece so he could take a win.

It is sad, because we buy boats to get away from the 'madding crowd' and cocks like this - but just sometimes you find they are there too.
