Final two BA 747s Leaving Heathrow for the Last Time
Discussion
Surprised I didn’t see you down there!
Thanks to however posted about this earlier in the thread. By sheer luck I happened to be in the area with 15 minutes to spare. Once this lockdown is over I’m hoping to take my kids down and maybe grab lunch in the cafe too.
Does anyone know if any more 747s are due in over the coming weeks? Be good to tick that off my bucket list. Then I’ll only need to worry about seeing a B52 in flight

There's supposed to be only 4/5 BA 747's left at Cardiff base that are due to leave to go off for scrapping, a week ago, it was posted elsewhere, that one a week, every Friday was due to leave, but not where to.I know another one went into Newquay, so you are running out of options to see a passenger 747 in the UK. Still plenty of options to see 747 Freighter's flying in and out of the UK though for years to come.
