Only for the use of the 200-month club members, and it's improved a little since that photo was taken! wink

What's interesting is the M1919 is fitted not only with an enclosed case catcher box, to stop the ejected cases peppering the cockpit windscreen, and props/engines etc., but is also fitted with some sort of sighting telescope....which probably wasn't the easiest thing to use whilst wearing flying goggles.....

It's rare that I come across an aircraft I've never seen before but this is one of those times. Apparently, only 24 were ever built.

Weird; doesn't look like a M1919, but not right for an M2 either; the Hall is described as being armed with Lewis guns and it's not one of those either. Maybe a homebrewed AN/M2 mount?

It still looks a lot like an AN/M2, the barrel looks wrong for an M1919 and that ammo box is awfully big for .30 caliber ammunition.

Sure is. XW419, been sitting there for years. Starting to look a bit green now.

Looking good for almost 50 years old, and great pics. Are these recent photos, if so anyone know the details? I thought the RAF had retired them all, and I've not see that paint scheme before either, the standard GR4 colour was grey and green wasn't it?

Royal Saudi Air Force maybe. Correct colour scheme.

From 2013 and Royal Saudi Air Force rather than RAF I believe.

They don’t, but for BAe to flight-test the aircraft, strange rules needed to be followed.

Part of the Tornado Sustainment Programme, thus the ‘TSP’ on the aircraft in the photos.
