If you've got reasonable kit and can get to the places the public can't then it's not difficult to get good shots wink

Nah, I just read it - I know Damien from The DVD Forums. His consistently excellent airshow photography was what got me more into the field in the first place. And yes, he often gets good access - he knows a fair few RAF folk I believe, particularly at his local base, which I think might be Brize. Not been unknown for him to get pax rides to take aerial shots of aircraft too. The git biggrin

Not getting much coverage on radio news at the moment but it looks like BBC News 24 and Sky News are on hand to cover the first flight live this morning at around 11.30 am (at least according to the Flypast Forum).

You can't get in to the airfield itself, but there's plenty of roads nearby.

I've just had a report that it's already flown this morning! The source is unreliable though. rolleyes
