No, one crashed due to staling while making a turn, because it was a police operated example it made the news. Not really a reputation for falling out of the sky, power of the media etc....

It's an Edgley Optica as AFAIK the only one still flying. Powered by a single piston engine driving a ducted fan so it's very quiet.

It's also probably one of the strangest looking aircraft

Lovely, I do think Sabres are the most elegant fighter of that period. Such simple lines Almost like a P51 with a jet in the middle
