Having worked in the Superyacht Industry for 25 years, its not the done thing to ask who owns it, even though we all know.

They pay an awefull lot of money for a bit of peace and quiet. Leave them be.

General rule of thumb is about a million per metre. Also depends who build it really and the demand. But yes I guess the charter price is correct. Its not uncommon for some boats to charter around that much. Just bare in mind that will get you just the boat and the crew. Food, wine, fuel, dock costs etc are all added on,,,,plus a tip for the crew so a charter for a week like that would turn in to about 700,000 euros or more depends on who charters it out.

Yep, thats about right; also cost in some 10% of the purchase price per year for the upkeep. 'Leander G' cost well over $1mill just to paint after 5 years.

Calm down, old boy, I have no reason, and no desire, to doubt your credentials...

I was referring to the "done thing" thing...

Don't mention the war, and all that...

I see it's owned by a Guernsey company. Next question, who owns the company? Quite easy if anybody really wants to know, so why the secrecy..?
