12V 30a Battery Charger - Retailers and/or suggestions.

Our 11 year old Sterling Battery Charger has blown up and I now need to get another one. Having trawled through the PBO forum it would appear that there is a 50:50 vote on wether the Sterling products are worth having or not.
I have perused the merlinequipment range of products which seem to cover about 4 different manufacturers. So I was wondering if anyone on here, had any recommendations for any particular make or any good deals that they know about.
At the moment I am looking at a Victron Centeaur 12V 30a jobbie for about £210 delivered. Also if anyone is particularly handy with boat electrics around Southampton then give me a shout.
