What's blue and smells like red paint...

The US Navy tested an experimental anti-fouling blue paint on some ship hulls several years ago
The Royal Navy tested it many years ago with HMS Exeter being the test ship.

Apparently the inside of an LNG tanker um, tank.
A membrane type tank usually full of liquid methane (hopefully not) sloshing around at -163 degrees centigrade. The biggest carry about 260,000m3 of LNG which is the same volume as about 100 olympic swimming pools. Also some of the fastest commercial ships in operation usually pounding around at 20knots plus because you need to manage the warming of the LNG.

I wonder how many degress of roll it can sustain before it flops over.

I'm just thinking or lever physics, how many seagulls does it take to land on the ends before it rolls over. biggrin

That is a cracking photo. I wonder if you anyone tried swimming right under the sub and out the other side. nuts

From the draught marks its just under 23 feet (assuming the US marks in feet, 2.3m is too small and 23 m fat too large) to the underside, and will be approximately the same side to side, so just about possible for an experienced freediver without scuba.
