I have been aboard the Bourbon Orca before.
It was decent weather so I can't comment on the seakeeping but its a very nice tub inside.

The masts are carbon fibre and the boat displaces about 1200 tons in total, so the weight of the rig is a very small proportion. There are sensors to detect the load the rig is under while sailing so that everything can be kept within safe limits.

Sitting awfully high! The bulbous bow won't be doing much.
How else is she to show off her teeth?

currently sat on my balcony watching the dubai leg of the world power boat championship. sadly i don'y have a long enough lens to take decent pics but the sea isn't all that calm and the boats are taking some big air.

If they could come up with a cheap UAV system to do the TV footage I could see that stuff rivalling F1, it's bonkers and has an impressive deathtoll to attract the ghouls.
