Is this a viable option for sole ownership or are the maintainence costs prohibitve compared a western type? e.g. Pitts

Oops - sorry PR - just saw your email.

Like anything, it all depends on your budget, really. Of the three in the UK, I think one is owned and operated by an individual, and the other two are run by syndicates - there is a share going in G-NOIZ at Waltham (a very nice example), or for the right price, the whole thing.

It might be worthwhile subscribing to the UK Aerobatics email list (now run as a Yahoo group) and posting any specific questions there as well.
