Those interior photos from Yacht A look incredible, definitely a world where money just doesn't exist.

Couple of these bad boys at the back must be getting on for 60m. That clown that owned BHS rolled up later on. (Lionheart)

10 internet points if you can tell me exactly where I was standing.

Looks like Lord Sugar is selling up

€14M

Interior is a lot more restrained than I imagined.

Wonder if he's trading up.

Prefer the old one. The interior of that is horrid.

Really like Lady A, that's pretty much what I'd pick if I were to design it! Clean, simple, comfortable.

By contrast the newer one looks better from the outside (I do like a blue scheme), but good gracious it's hideous inside. Interior design by Harrods!

PW, I hear a 126m yacht us launching next year. Due to its size I'm guessing you may know a few scant details? Cheers

The Aga Khan ordered it in December 1998, it launched in 2003, hit by countless delays it has only recently been completed.

Oh and it's powered by six gas turbine engines and said to be capable of up to 70 knots biggrin
Worked on that several times over the years, umpteen delays, skippers and crew, repaints, window changes, decor changes etc. Probably more engine changes than a f1 test car.

Seen off Formentera, first time I have seen her. She certainly has some presence.

Although this is more my kind of sailing yacht:

Ngoni, new 58m Royal Huisman.

PW, this is the yacht i was talking about. It is Lurssen. They are pretty secretive and i don't ask about the details. It's immense though 146M. I know it has a submarine and i will get to take a look onboard when installing the 'stuff' smile

Going to be one of the Sauds, or Dubai lot upgrading their current tub. Or if building gets suspended one of the Qataris.

I once heard £1m/meter was average for these things but that was a while back - i guess its more like £2-3m-whatever/meter now?

Doesnt seem unreasonable that 146m could be £450m?

Once i've been paid I'll happily ask smile . The people I'm dealing with are not at all pretentious which is refreshing.

Espen O is doing the exterior scheme/design.

I think poster PW is the expert. He works for an owner. I think there is huge variation in cost. It's safe to say it's $200M min but could be $300 depending on exactly what the spec is.
