Certainly in the top five.

I do have a massive soft spot for Octopus as I love the expedition setup. On a similar note, le Grand Bleu, despite being rather 'commercial' in appearance does have a fantastic set of toys on board (along with a massive crane to launch them). I seem to remember that she started life as an offshore support vessel.

The Christina O also has to be on any list, if only for the history of the thing. Then again, a nice J class would be ideal.

So, if a single ticket wins tonight's £85mill Euro draw, what is the biggest yacht they could realistically afford to buy and run off the winnings?

I'd finger in the air and say somewhere in the region of £15m but you'd have to really want a big boat to spend that much. If it was me I'd just charter bit stuff when needed and keep something modest like a 58ft Windy at my newly obtained country house on a fjord in Norway smile Maybe a proper water sports boat too.

anyone able to identify this? saw it in Montego Bay when we started our Carribean Cruise last spring....

Scrap that, just seen the enlarged picture, it's the Mayan Queen and belongs to Mr. Alberto Bailleres the 85th richest man in the world... stunning... what would this be worth?

I saw this in the Caribbean in January - Al Mirqab, 133 metres. Nice looking thing.

All the big boat pictures are coming out now,

I have seen breiftly inside the back end of Al Mirquab and it is stunning, Dilbar is a nice boat but nothing out of the ordinary relativly speaking these days

Islander should be made in to an artifical reef it is bloody ugly,

Well no one won, so the jackpot will be over £100 million this Friday. Time to spec out that extra 15ft smile

soz, didn't scan whole thread, £49m is cheap for what it is.

Just had a scan at the add on campers site, makes you smile when you see 'designer - Rxx Hxxxxxx' I know some of the peeps that took his artist impression and engineered the design otherwise it wouldn't have floated let alone work.
I suppose its like any big name architect in the city, great sketches.

I spoke to one of my closest friends this week who is running big squrt boat(150ft) in Cannes. The owner has ordered a big X yacht for his son to play with and a new 200ft squrt for himself at 50mil. Oh and the old one is not sold yet... Still money about then...
I would like to broker those sales mmmmmm could retire moan
