Looks like they're launching a couple of remote control models so that they can have a play ...

Rather like TopGear did some years ago in a gravel pit with an old 5 series(?)

(I'd love to know how the internal structure is set up so they can winch up the boats from their top deck vs the usual sling method)

I saw Oscar Fox couple of days ago off Italy:

She is the same design as Garcon, supports Flying Fox.

I get the idea of these support vessels but it's like the super hot, popular girl in school who has a fat ugly mate who follows her around everywhere.

You know you're living on a different planet when you have a 70 odd metre boat following your 90 metre superyacht to carry your luggage.

I don't. Why, when you have a boat as big as a hotel, do you need another large boat to follow it around?

Somewhere to keep all the tenders, jetskis, canoes, inflatables (slides etc), without clogging up your main boat, or compromising her design to make room for all the tender garages.

Also room for all your ex special forces security team to live.

It doesn’t follow, it will be at the destination before to set up so the owner doesn’t suffer the inconvenience of waiting for their tenders or toys to be ready.

Because having a helicopter on your boat is chavy. It also allows for better vessel design.

Thanks.
I thought that you might be able to fit most of what you needed onto a £150m quid boat but apparently not!

Sunseeker Predators? Tenders arn't they?

Was hoping someone would post Le Grand Bleu. I saw that off the coast of Menorca a few years back. Stunning. And was there for several days as the guests had gone on a 2 day jaunt on the 100ft sailing boat that sits on the back alongside the Sunseeker predator. Very good toys to have on the back of your mega yacht!

Think it's my favourite yacht...but then again there are a few more. (except Phil Green's as he is a total f***ing crook and should have to give his boat to former BHS employees),
You may like these pictures then:

It is excess piled on top of excess though isn't it! I mean... if I could define a first world problem.. the solution would be a support vessel to my mega yacht

I have just ordered mine from Damen

In other news is the owner of Grand Bleu a Harry Potter fan? I noticed the yacht is bellatrix and the sunseeker is called Sirius A

You would be surprised.
when you need a tender for the beach runs, one for fishing, one for evening transport to the marina and a couple of ski boats.
Wave Runners
Somewhere to keep the helicopter as it needs to be run every week or so for maintenance.
Dive equipment including decompression chamber.
Petrol tanks
Jet A1 tank
facility to take waste oil from the main yacht and possibly supply it with fuel
extra cabins for crew, pilots, dive masters and beauty therapists etc

In fact, how do they operate without a shadow boat hehe

Just come back from Capri and Amalfi and seen some amazing super yachts. I have noticed that the large sailing variety never seem to actually use their sales. Why is this? is it due to a skeleton crew, owner not being aboard or that it takes too long to rig it??

Possibly not 60 million, but this was in Stornoway harbour last week... looking a little out of place alongside a couple of trawlers and the CalMac ferry.

Now en route to Gibralta, probably to thaw out...

Nice. Now I do like that. Make model?
