Aviva was in Southampton last week. I built the Hunton tender that’s sat behind it so was nice to see it back local. (That was before Hunton decided to make all of us redundant and outsource any production. Since then they haven’t built a single boat)
The tender is an XRS43 but the only moulding on it that relates to any other XRS43 is the anchor locker lid, every single other moulding has been modified as the customer wanted a different layout with a longer cockpit and shorter foredeck. Shame about the awful bimini it is now sporting as well.

Is the tender 43 feet? Boy, doesn’t look it smile agreed, the canopy is horrible. I’d def go hard top and twin outboards

Won't it sink with that door open?

Quite a few colours around now.

I did a short stint on the yellow one there.

The inside is as poor taste as the outside imo.

not that i could afford more than a small dinghy.....

i only have a crappy pic in the dark, but I am just back from a holiday in Nice and spotted ‘rising sun’ parked up at the marina (well more like ferry terminal). damn that’s prettt big boat!

also in the marina was ‘quinta essentia’ which looked pretty nice.

took a trip up to monaco for the day and too many to mention from there!

this was my first time seeing boats like this in ‘real life’ and i just hadn’t appreciated the scale of the them. they really are huge! totally can see the ‘boat envy’/ must have a bigger boat than next door...... i don’t think i’ll ever understand the wealth needed to run boats of this size tho!

Yeah 43ft. It has a pair of 6lp Yanmars in it so it will do around 45kts, not the fastest Hunton ever made! Twin outboards wouldn’t have worked as we had to remodel the whole aft end for the customers requirements.

Yacht A is in corfu. It looks like CGI in the flesh, almost unreal!

ETA....no idea why that's loaded sideways!

I wondered if it was. I saw three tall chimney-like protuberances over Corfu town and pointed them out to my kids as a possible sighting of Yacht A.

I get no sense of scale. Presumably it's a big bugger?

I think that tiny little rectangle toward the bow is a personnel door. So 7-8 foot high?

I seem to remember on this thread someone came up with some photos (from someone presumably now at the very bottom of the employment pile) of the interior of SY-A. Looked incredible but perhaps I am thinking of something else?

Edit - found them!

I know this is not 60m+, but it's the first time I've seen a configurator for anything approaching that level so thought it might be of interest here...
