Amaryllis was parked up at Gun Wharf Quays when I was there on Sunday

Can’t think of many things better than just cruising around the world in that for a year or two on a whim.
I agree, but Gunwharf Quays would not be on mu list of "oo, I must go there"

When you have a large house in Hampshire it is ideal....

I posted a comment a while back saying how I thought new Super yacht Flying Fox was a little dull in design.

In hindsight I don't think dull is a bad thing......

Not keen on the port holes in the hull, they seem to have run out of ideas and just splattered some random shape templates all over the place, looks a right mess.

Once again a yacht designed to look good without any thought on how the deck crew will keep it clean. This will require a crew member to physically go over the side in order to clean the side of the yacht. This requires Risk Assessments, permits to Work, Certified harnesses and safety equipment and a supervisor and of course the right weather conditions. One sand storm or 'Dirty rain' and it all needs doing again.

I hope they have tracks and rails and Pad Eyes in all the right places.

Yeah, but other than wearing sunglasses, you haven't got anything else to do, have you!?

Now put the boss's gin down and strap yourself into this thing!

Pretty much standard for any yacht I've been involved with. Easy enough to have a SOP with an established RA, no need to go through the whole process every time the guys wash down.

A permit to work should be raised on each occasion that a crew member works aloft or over the side and can only remain open for 24 hours max. A standard requirement within the PTW is that the Risk Assessment has been reviewed and is still applicable and if not, updated.

Talking of cleaning yachts, that new yacht must be like cleaning a Toyota Yaris compared to this...

Bonus points for the Vessel name.
