That’s one of the Tankoa 50m boats; Vertige or Bintador

They seem to do quite nice boats.
Thanks, looks stunning. Parking something like that off a Greek beach is almost slumming it.

must be the coolest boat ever imo, actually travels around the world with people living on it unlike other poser superyachts!

such a weird lifestyle to those who live on it! must be odd socially for them

You will find that plenty of owners of superyachts or megayachts are on board for very long period of time and one thing there are not is "posers", they will often shy away from the public eye. Let's not stigmatise an all industry because a few charter guests are showing off their yachts for the week in the med. wink

So I win euro millions tonight and want to spend £1mil a year on running costs for the next 20 years and live aboard for a large period of time what size yacht does it get me?

Guessing I’d be under the £60mil threshold?

In my quest to find a yacht I found this which I though was elegant and cheap. https://www.boatinternational.com/yachts-for-sale/...

I think I saw on this thread a very general rule
of thumb is 10% of new purchase should be approx running costs a year?

So £10m yacht in theory?

I think with ‘only’ £170m, I’d rent them by the week rather than buying.

KD is sitting in Vassiliki Harbour at the moment but the ownership seems "mysterious" - anyone know who owns her?

Love that.

Been round the world 3 times and has a strengthened hull for ice.

Even managed to get Mrs P to say she’d pay half if we win the lottery.
I’d be happy on there.

I believe Stephen Speilberg did a big tour on his mega yacht Seven Seas with his family a few years ago. I saw it in Cannes once during the film festival - a lovely yacht.

Not £60m but some on here may find this article interesting. Personally I love it and had no idea of its history! -
