Just passed Moonrise at the Medina straights, 2020 launched, 100m long, cabins for 32 crew. No idea who owns it but the fuel bill will be massive as she went by at over 16 knots.

He died a year or 2 ago. It seems to always park up there each summer.

Another from Spirit and well under thread minimum (though I think the thread is flexible for interesting stuff). I bloody love this. Until last week I had not heard of Spirit, not being very nautical, but I'm pleased to see the company is in Ipswich.

Stunning

We'd been down in Lymington for a few days, I had a round of golf, we visited Beaulieu and we a day out sailing on my nephew's yacht which are all "me" things so I couldn't deny her a shopping fix on the way home.

Am I out of touch with prices? That seems an absolute cheap as chips bargain?

It's very nice, but looks like it would be a nightmare to keep it nice if you actually used it as intended - a constant regime of cleaning and varnishing. Did he say it took them six months just to varnish the interior?

I meant the super-yacht owner as it seemed like an odd place to moor such a beast. Lovely part of the Country though and the shops there do have a better view than the boats/yachts!

Edit to update...

Also to just arrive is M5.....Mirabella V.

Tenuous claim to fame... I photographed this very same yacht when it was on the rocks in the south of France back in 2004. Spooky.

It's been down there most of lockdown. Comes and goes every so often (day trips, overnighters) but has been parked up blocking the view for months.
Oddly, not there now.

Faith has perfect lines. Lovely.

I have also heard that Stroll has sold it to another Dad in the f1 paddock.

I can't think of anything else in this thread that has left my aching with want as this... absolutely blown away.

haha. How cool. We left yesterday and came to Crete. But before we departed we took a ride up to the top of the island and saw M5 on the other side of the island with the sails up.

I spotted this in a Dubai shipyard back in 2018 Luna

I think it had been seized due to a dispute between the owner and his wife.

If the internet is to believed parts of the hull are 17.5cm thick but I tend to find this a little hard to believe that it can be that thick and still float?

Don't think I have posted it before:
