She isn't worth £60m but it is all relative....... I am not a billionaire. At over 24 meters she is officially a Superyacht. (And certainley a money pit). The good news is we have just had our first charter 'Staycation' booking for the summer.

Just to clear things up. I am not the 'Beneficial Owner' of the yacht. I do have an interest in the yacht as the Skipper, Yacht Manager and one of the Directors of the yachts owning company BUT the the Benifical Owner is a wonderful gentleman who's identity I aim to protect.

I know of a 38m yacht that charters for €110,000 per week. She is fully booked for the season. From what I can gather the owner gets a free week and that's it. Not a money making venture.

My understanding is many boats are been moved back from the med at the moment to try and at least get some time on the water this season, even it means battling tides and flippin cold sea temps!

If the boats are British registered, aren't they all coming back so they don't have to pay VAT since we're no longer part of the EU?
I understand it's an issue for smaller yachts, not sure if these ships fall into the same catagory.

Reminds of that boat in a JB movie which broke into two to create another boat. Can’t remember the movie but think it had a parrot as part of the plot. Probably made just as a movie prop ?
