One of those moments when only 'fk' will do... and the 'Time Bank of Simpo' does very nicely selling them the last minute again so they can have another go hehe

Best thing they could have done to that Pearl is let it sink, nice looking boat but lets just say the build process is not the best!

Is this the dropped boat?

The one that fell out of the sling had 2 chaps on board. Both survived. There was a brief article about it in Motorboats and yachting a couple of years ago

Well, that's not going back in the water any time soon, for sure.

I must admit I've sometimes found yards to be quite lackadaisical about lifting boats, I guess when you do it all day every day it's easy to get too used to it.

Every time mine comes in or out, I try and make myself busy for 10 minutes, I honestly don't want to see!

Funny I always watch like a hawk, to make sure they dont damage it.

Don't get me wrong, I have a good look before and after, but I'd rather not see the actual deed!

It is a hairy moment though.I have a 24ft in Italy and when they are lifting it in , they are not exactly careful. After seeing that picture with the chap hanging onto the transom door a few years ago I always get off the boat and watch from the ground.
