Amazingly agile for a heavy bomber: more like a jet fighter. I bet even the Vulcan couldn’t do that.

Roly Falk, the Avro test pilot, famously rolled one of the prototypes at a Farnborough airshow. Here's some original BBC TV footage of the event -

Neither they nor Victors were rolled in normal displays. But later on in the 1960s, service versions of both the Vulcan and Victor demonstrated their toss bombing technique at Farnborough displays. It wasn't quite a roll but it was quite a dramatic manoeuver.

Big as 737 fuselages apparently. Maybe they could re-purpose some of the one's they have laying about currently ......https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AAQSekOGPR0
Yes funny how they’ve gone back to Jumbo size passenger numbers.
As for the engines, am I correct in saying that the days of an airline choosing the engine manufacturer they want are numbered? I.e. once an engine manufacturer gets selected for an airliner type from the outset, then that’s it for the foreseeable. If so then that’s really going to challenge the viability of some of the engine manufacturers.

JESUS! They are almost the diameter of the fuselage
Amazing how engine vs fuselage dia has changed over time with introduction of the high-bypass

I would love one of the blades for the living room, they are a work of art...

It's happened in the past. You couldn't buy a Tristar without RB211's bolted to it, Early 737's and the 727's only came with JT8's.As for the engines, am I correct in saying that the days of an airline choosing the engine manufacturer they want are numbered? 96-year old former Luftwaffe Ace Erich Brunotte flies in a BF-109 again. It's the special BF-109 G-12 two seater that can fly on DB and Merlin, Merlin used here.
