Some original artwork for the book. Right mark of Vampire too (I think) -

I was tempted to buy this until I read the reviews on Amazon. They give you the dimensions of the book but NOT the number of pages. It is a short story rather than a novel, but charged as a full size paperback.
Don't let that put you off. It is a long-ish short story rather than a novel, but it is well written and you don't buy literature by the word anyway do you? It is a good Christmas story too.

The edition I had contained a number of nice pencil drawings of the aircraft.

This is bugging me, I have a copy somewhere but cannot find it. It was bought for me second hand.

Not sure if amazing but hidden behind some farm buildings where I live you get glimpses of these (shown from the air on this link)

https://www.google.co.uk/maps/place/Eckington,+Per...

Located near Pershore, does anyone know anything about these? Obviously I can see that there is a Hunter, Vampire, Meteor, Jet Provost? and something else.

I am interested in finding out whether there is a story attached.

Just found this on the Meteor: Meteor T.7 WH166, Birlingham, Worcestershire. Private collection
