I used to cycle past one at Andrewsfield in Essex. An old bomber base from WW2, there's little left of it now, just a grass strip and the road is what used to be the perimeter track. 25 years between these pictures, and I'm sure it's not seen much in the way of tlc between them. I'm amazed it's still there at all, really.

I remember the first time I saw it, crossing my fingers and hoping it was an airworthy example, but when I got closer it was clear that it wasn't being looked after very well, stood outside in all weathers...
The new paint job for the RCAF Demo Cf-18, Marking the 60th Anniversary of NORAD. Photo compliments of Mike Reyno. Mike also remarked on the 401 Sqn aircraft banking away showing off the NORAD-type armament load that it carries on air the defence mission. He also remarked on the fact that this is a big year for 401 Sqn, as this year is the 100th year anniversary of this Squadron.
