Except for the guy who painted the back-to-front Turkish flag on the tail! laugh
Many US aircraft have back-to-front Stars & Stripes flags on them. So do American troops and astronauts. Weird.
For the American flag, the field of stars always leads. Since it is frequently worn on the right shoulder these days, it looks bass ackwards.

I think this has been on before:

It's described 'Dozens of F4U Corsair and F6F Hellcat fighter planes fly in formation over the USS Missouri, while the surrender ceremonies to end World War II take place aboard the U.S. Navy battleship, on September 2, 1945'

I wonder if it might be the most aircraft photographed flying in one frame of all time? Unless. of course, you guys can show me the error of my wild guess.

When you flew at Mach 3, but the paint was only good for Mach 2.5...

( Actually caused by the paint being too thick in certain areas to flex, after being touched up to look good for the visit of a politician )

That would make an interesting subject for a model.

I initially assumed it was a Herc but it could be something bigger - a C-17?

C-17 I’d say.

Too wide for a C130 or A400M

The same USS Missouri that fought in GW1. Wonder if any of the aircraft still exist.

I think it would have been brilliant if XH558 had spent it's last season in Ant-Flash White.

Notice how simple the wing plan of the Vulcan B1 is compared to the later B2.

Thanks I enjoyed that.
The While scheme is great, but equally when you think about that it stands for in terms of the aircraft and why I was that colour etc, somewhat unnverving, if that makes sense.

The Vulcan leading edge extension, makes it almost organic looking, were similarly present on the ogive angled Concorde wing.

I didn't even realise there was such a big difference...
