A video, rather than a photo. Drone flight through the hangars of the US Air Force museum in Dayton, Ohio. B-52A, TACIT BLUE, YB-70 Valkyrie, all kinds of goodness. And some very impressive drone flying, too.

That museum makes it almost worth going to Dayton Ohio.

The museum website is pretty good, with details of each exhibit and 360 cockpit views of many of the planes. https://www.nationalmuseum.af.mil/Visit/Museum-Exh...

Went there a couple of years ago whilst on a work trip wink It's very impressive. They even have a Tornado GR1 in desert pink, stuffed in a corner of one of the halls

That looks like the visit of the Shuttle to the 1983 Paris Air Show when it also dropped into Stansted. Notice that the Shuttle is Enterprise, so one of the rare occasions Enterprise was carried on the 747 after the 1977 drop tests had been completed.

Question;

WSPS - but I cant see any on that craft?

Mass of Air craft against cable strength isnt stacking up in my head.

cables can be miiiiilles long with a huge amount of mass, remember pictures of cars hanging off them from when they parked over cables as they were stringing up and get winches into the air.

I've dropped screws behind trim panels and ended up in similar situations...

I wonder if there is a particular reason why RAF Chinooks aren't fitted with wire cutters.
