Great; another boat where you can't see the water between your bow and 300m away from the bridge. WTF?

Certainly seems to be.

Built at P&J's Southampton facility, apparently. Looks like it was a spec build, so if you wander down there with a big sackful of money, I guess it could be yours!
P&J have a Southampton boat building facility? I didn't think it was even built yet?

You have a little man on the front. Or parking sensors? Mind you the owners might take the view that anything not large enough to show above the focsle deserves to be crushed to matchwood!

Yes, over at Hythe, the old military port I think, although not quite sure. The new one on the old vosper site is not built yet.

She was trundling down Southampton Water yesterday afternoon too.

If there are no boats to make, are they supposed to pay everybody to do nothing?

Slightly off but just still on topic, I saw a very odd boat anchored in Elba (southern part of the island).

It was black and silver, quite a large motor yacht and almost had the shape of an Egyptian eye if you get me....most likely not but I can't seem to be able to describe it as I ain't seen nothing like it before. Someone who was with us said it was quite a famous boat around that area?

I was in a mood that day so didn't think about taking a picture....

Yes, great shame for the city.

I note from your profile the JST link, great organisation.

BINGO!

Even though I was in a mood, I just couldn't stop looking at it.

Very well done getting it from my description too!!

Thank you very much. Been involved for over 20yrs, from deckies arse to almost running the show.

Tried to organise a PH trip a couple of years back - no interest unfortunately. I could try for again for 2011 perhaps. Say a drive to Southampton Docks (I'd organsise secure parking) and a day out on this:

Good idea?
