The executive committee of 6 is recommending bottling casks 2 and 3 in addition to cask 1 which was bottled this afternoon.
When I say recommending what I actually mean 2 and 3 are being bottled tomorrow morning.
Trust us they are fantastic !

Do you have the PM I sent earlier - do you want me to take yours for courier to Norfolk ??
We might have a half bottle issue to deal with at home before shipping - find out in the morning.

Of those not yet ready - and please don't ask until late this year / same time next year - the Rum finish has real promise. Very young spirit with a nice nose.
We then left the tasting glass for an hour or so over dinner - wow - it really opened up with some air. There are some good drams but giving this another two years and we may have a winner.

Whoop whoop - I've got cask 2 as well as 1. I just hope S6PNJ has room in his boot to bring both down!

Room in my stomach car - hopefully yes. No problems, my courier charges are quite low at one bottle per 9 carried! eek

Whilst I'm sad to have missed this, at least it appears there is an option to do another later in the year! smile

If anyone is happy to part with a bottle for cold hard cash, then let me know biggrin

The share of cask 2 is 6 x 50cl bottles and 3 is 5 x 50cl, 1 x 20cl and 1 x 10cl, a consequence of smaller casks and greedy angels.

SUPERB !!!!!!!!!!!

Cannot wait to get my bottles as have some friends really keen to get there hands on some and of course I want to give it a try after 5 years of waiting.

When do you want paying and when will the bottles be sent out ?

Drinking a wee talisker in anticipation.

If anyone with a run share wants a swap with a bottle of barrel 1, speak now or forever drink your gourgeous rum infused malt.

According to an informal tasting sesh this evening cask 1 goes down smoother than a penguin in velvet wetsuit. The verdict is it's sweet with a finish like a young Islay malt. That is all.
