I just phoned WB; they need the instruction to come from Iain as the casks are all in his name, so I've PMed him.

Spookily enough I sent a text nudge to the Baron pretty much as you posted; I've not heard anything from him since August so I guess he's snowed at work.

Labeling and bottle choices to be made, although as far as I'm concerned keeping it the same as last time is just fine.

No but I would guess all remaining casks barring the freerange one, unless it's been tracked down.

Hi everyone, sorry for the delay. Been so long I forgot I’d changed my user name! Luckily, the whisky is maturing nicely I’ve been assured.

Right I have bottling forms for the casks and have asked for some samples from the three Ben Nevis casks (PPX1, P10 and SC40).



I see Stuart Nickerson has just bottled his Octaves after 8 years and he thinks they are magnificent. I had the pleasure of tasting an 8yo PX a couple of weeks from a mates octave and it was a powerful wee bugger. Tremendous.

Is everyone happy with 50cl bottles again?

I’ve paid a couple of storage invoices, maybe £250 in total but I’ll sort it all out when they’re bottled. Can’t really give a price yet until we see how much whisky there is and what strength to calculate the duty but I can’t imagine it will be much different to the first 3!

As above, 50cl bottles and plain labels like the first 3 bottlings gets my vote.
