Amazingly late to the party... but any slots available (or for sale) for the unpeated cask?

Actually feels like ages since we bought a cask. About time for another one I reckon!

In all seriousness, I'd like to get in on another cask if people are interested? Reply if you fancy another stake.

Hoping Lefty checks in on the thread smile

Having a look back through the thread, do the quantities and time to maturity for the other casks also apply to the port pipes?

If so, it might be in time for my 40th too!

I'm in !
What sort of finish are you thinking of 5678 ?
I'd be very interested in Fino, Amontillado or Manzanilla if they have any left ?
Come on Lefty, we need your input !

TBH, I'm far from educated in knowing the particulars of different Sherry varieties.

For me, it has to be non-peated. Port or Sherry finish is fine though.

I have had a sample of this :-

http://www.thewhiskyexchange.com/P-10648.aspx

and it was fantastic.
I therefore vote for a Fino Octave filled with non-peated spirt.
Who's in ?

Better check that Glenglassaugh have them still available........

I'd be up for that.

Edit to add, that Bruichladdich sounds lovely!

Ummm I'm not sure there is another cask yet and don't want put lefty in a difficult spot if he doesn't want to organise/buy another. May be a little more polite to say we'd like to register our interest should there be another cask available, though joiners should be at the discretion of the cask organiser not necessarily posting order.

That said there's nothing to stop someone else organising this even from another distillery - I would but I can barely keep my self organised :0

Perhaps CB wants to do the honours?

I may take a second slot on a cask as a wedding gift to a mate.

You are absolutely right Dave, in my excitement I have forgotten my manners.
Sorry Lefty.

I would therefore like to register an interest in another cask (Fino seems popular ?) and hope that Lefty would be able to help with the organising.
