I hope you sucked the heads, and ate some shell if crispy enough?

Uniko, Vilamoura. Tapas menu:

I had intended to have a cheap/quick lunch as they do a brilliant lunch menu with some great value meals for under 10 euros. I didn't realise it was Saturday though so was forced onto the tapas menu instead laugh

I decided to have 1 of everything.

There wasn't a bad dish served, but I particularly enjoyed the parma ham:

45 euros plus tip. Not bad value at all, that included 3 drinks.

Looks like you've ruined a perfectly good tin of tuna laugh

I went to a proper butchers today and got some spicy chicken kebabs, some chicken kebabs marinaded in honey and something else (forgot what it was now), and some lamb koftas. Going to bbq those and serve with rice and pitta breads. Starving now but got the hospital in an hour so need to wait!

In a nutshell, heating the can releases most of the Bisphenol A that is in the lining & it leaches into the tuna. You then die of the Aids in about a week.

Okay, if you insist.

A frozen fish pie, a greggs sausage and bean bake, and a few slices of buttered brown bread.

fking hell, I wouldn't dream of heating it! Has plastic lining inside it (just like tinned tomatoes etc).
Better off emptying it into a stainless steel container first...

I'm impressed with the star anise under the potato.

How did you get it out of the container in an almost perfect piece?

Magners with ice

Years of practise rofl

I ripped one side of the container off and lifted up the top bit with a fork, the rest pretty much slid out and i just carefully lowered the top back into place. Pretty crap food I know but for 1.30 euros they're pretty good value as far as an 'emergency' meal goes.

Just went for a steak, don't know if I can cope with these chicken kebabs I'm planning to barbecue tonight now. I might need to save them for breakfast/lunch

Saw it on the internet thought i'd give it a go, essentially it's 2 pieces of big roll put on top of an open can of tuna in oil, light the paper and the oil burns off leaving a paper lid similar to an oil lamp wick.

I'm not dead yet, nor has there been any conclusive proof that BPA is harmful to humans. I'm more concerned with the mercury found in the tuna itself...

Exactly this, plenty have done it for years and continue to do so, I'll be sure to try it again.

Yes, the great BPA scandal of 1901-1904. Terrible times.
