Another “breakfast as lunch” here as well.

Part cooked baguettes, finished off in the oven. Bacon (unsmoked dry cure back) also cooked in the oven. The baguettes look much paler in the pictures than they were IRL

Both baguettes with butter, one with cheese and bacon, the other with just bacon and ketchup. Swilled down with a can of lemon San Pellegrino. It’s the most I’ve eaten in months. The dog helped me out quite a bit here. I really overestimated how much I can manage to eat these days.

You’re absolutely right. I was a bit disorganised with assembly. The baguettes were pretty much down to room temperature by the time I’d finished cooking the bacon, which wasn’t really hot enough to melt the cheese.

Not my best work.

It was decided we needed a better quality lunch today, but due to being stuck in an office, we were limited on equipment. We decided we'd push the toastie maker to new limits, becoming professional culinologists instantaneously. Wraps are usual in the office, but we decided to go wrap+ and throw in salsa and cheese. Basically, we made fajitas on the toastie maker...

It began, in shifts, because it's a fking toastie maker, but we persevered.

To save buying spices etc, we opted for M&S Peri-peri chicken, 4 bloody packs of it.

It quickly became evident that we'd over over specced the job, and all of the food was not going to fit, so we threw some in the slow cooker to aid with keeping warm. It was ste.

So we moved the chicken and onion back to the toastie machine, it was rather full, but worked.

A quick dish up (2 each...) and we were golden.

A arty shot for you to salivate!

The slow cooker featured in a post on the dinner thread, where I slow cooked pie innards. Clearly not busy enough!

Red peppers with quinoa and feta. Homemade Pesto and cherry tomatoes.

Currently in Poland at the in laws house. Most of the produce is from the garden.

The tomatoes here are glorious.

Did Vegan for lunch. Rice, home grown Slim Cayenne chilli pepper, onion and frozen peas. Plus herbs and lots of salt and pepper. Plus soy sauce. I added the Soy after is as rather bland before hand....

Not sure if the added salt from the salt and soy sauce made it more unhealthy than eating bacon in it, which would have been far more tasty

More chillis perhaps?
