My lunch from yesterday, £8 from a new turkish place opened in my area.

Not pictured was the bread they make themselves that was grilled. For the same price up the road there's a chippy that does kebabs. Their doner meat is elephant leg that's bought in, it's like eating sliced burger meat. But with the above you can see the herbs and layers of fat and meat. The chippys chilli sauce is horrible sugary vinegary crap that you get in the poundshop, where as this place is fresh and full of flavour.

Strange one this. Sainsbury's sell little plastic bowls of salad, I had some tomatoes and peppers left over from the weekend so for a couple of days I have been cutting up the tomatoes and peppers and adding them to the salad bowl. The rest is their Sweet Chilli Sliced Chicken Breast, oh and I bought some Ranch dressing. From the comments I have been getting you would think I am about to enter Masterchef, its just salad and chicken.

I get these quite often, a basic Garden Salad for £1. Add a drizzle of salad dressing, a tin of tuna or their chicken breast, tasty, cheap, and quick lunch. Fairly healthy as well! Crusty Rolls optional!! i'm trying to be good but I love bread, Any Bread!!

yum

Roast pork at the weekend so had extra for lunch. Had some extra courgettes so roasted them off with a little olive oil and Italian herbs. Picked up a freshly cooked baguette on the way in (still warm) and boom. Actually when you compare it to the full size keyboard thats a big sandwich

You got the inspiration from the 'Rate my Plate' facebook group didn't you? that's the first time I've ever seen someone do such a thing.
