They were spot on,saying that it was the only box left yesterday when I went ,may pop tomorrow and check if they’ve restocked and get a few It’s only a few minutes drive down the road , I may even walk could do with shifting a bit

I’ve got good supply of cocktail sausages in the fridge for her lick I did give her the odd ,and another so she’s happy

Back to basics, beans on toast warbutons with loads of lurpak and aldi beans, which i now prefer ovwr rhe often watery heinz beans.

Halloumi Kebabs with homemade slaw.




Homemade Strawberry Tart for dessert.



Sunday lunch was a roast with 3 hour slow cooked Lamb shank and side of veggie roast with sweet potato mash.



Monday was a thai mashup with chinese spring rolls and homemade egg friend rice.

Bit late for a lunch snap, hey ho. Pan fried sea bass with rice broccoli peas mange tout onions and peppers. Dash of soy. Delicious

My 2 year old was really interested in my lunch today, but ultimately didn’t like anything apart from the rice...

For dessert at today’s lunch the Better half did another lemon meringue, Its been in the fridge for 24 hours and it’s ready for eating, I weighed this one, it came in at 2.2 pounds or, 1.95 kilos, without the plate.

Late lunch, pissaladiere made using my Ooni pizza oven. Caramelised onions, anchovies, garlic, thyme, olives and tomatoes.


Chopped duck confit salad, poached egg, homemade bread.
