Today’s lunch with a baguette I’d just baked

I must admit, a fish finger sammich is one of my guilty pleasures.
My personal preference is with sliced bread, one side spread with tartare sauce, the other with ketchup.

A man after my own heart! That’s exactly what I put on the baguette.

I’ve posted it towards the bottom of this page. It’s a labour of love though and a great deal of trial and error, something lockdown has allowed me!

I had to try making the dough in different rooms in the house according to temperature, mess around with getting the oven temperature right with water in a tray on different shelves to get the right level of temperature and steam and actually getting it shaped requires practice!

Spicy fried chicken thighs with yoghurt and harissa. Should have used two wraps for folding purposes!

Mrs Morvan's favorite pizza in the Ooni, creme fraiche and garlic base, covered with Burgundy snails and Epoisses cheese plus extra garlic.

I love all those things but fking hell, that's one hell of an acquired tastes combo!
Also creme fraiche base makes it more a tarte flambee than a pizza.

Your wife if French AICMFP

Yes very much like a flammekueche, she isn't French but we live 6/7 months of the year in France about 50 mins south of Epoisses. I love snails and don't mind Epoisses, the cheese is still banned on public transport but as a whole not really my kind of pizza.

Yeah, it was from an Italian deli. Was full of fennel and slightly dry due to the meat not being fatty enough.
