A roasted shoulder of lamb today, a tasty joint I'd say, a definite alternative to the normal roasted leg.

Went to the Trentham Estate, or as we used to call it, Trentham Gardens. Had a mooch around the shops then went to Willow for lunch.

Had a burger called The Greek, so minted lamb patty, halloumi, salad, labneh and a couple of other things I didn't recognise.

Very tasty, and made a nice change from the usual Cheese and Bacon burger.

I used to go every Saturday years ago to ride a jet ski on a lake there.

Same here, except for me it was either the pitch and putt or the driving range.

Sadly now neither exist, and I think jet skis are frowned upon now it's "The Estate".

You can walk round the lake now though, for a bargain of price of £11 a go....

Must admit I'm intrigued how you ended up round Stoke - thought you were far too sophisticated for that sort of thing? wink

Basically what happened was that my best mate really got into jet skiing. We went there pretty much every Saturday for a whole summer (1994) and finally, he bought one, so after that, we went elsewhere.

I will be going to Stoke again before long as there is a Porsche Indy there that I think I am going to use for a few jobs.

Was that taken from a Ninja Cow? It seems incredible at not being seen hehe

Does look mighty tasty though in fairness.
