Eeewww..... Nope. IMO tastes like a poor wine stuck in a barrel for a year to try to add something to it.
Not for me.
Nor is the cheapo French malbec I tried before hand,
Keep this one for cooking.
I tried that Malbec last week. Chucked half in the dinner, drank the other half. Was pretty drinkable but nothing special. Not for me.

they've stopped doing lancashire hot pots. hardly worth going now...except for the lemon posset.
Lemon posset is a total pice of piss to make. Ten minutes, tops, plus a few hours in the fridge.https://www.theguardian.com/lifeandstyle/2009/may/...

Lemon posset
One of the simplest and most delicious of all English puddings. It's remarkable that something that takes only minutes to make tastes so luxurious. Serve it as it is, with small shortbread biscuits as we do here, or with a few raspberries later in the summer. Serves six.
600ml double cream
150g caster sugar or vanilla sugar
Juice of 3 medium-sized lemons
Pour the cream into a large saucepan and add the sugar. Warm gently, stirring to dissolve the sugar, then bring to a boil and boil for exactly three minutes, without stirring. Remove from the heat and whisk in the lemon juice. Strain into a jug, then pour into six ramekins or small glasses. Cool, cover, and refrigerate for four hours before serving.

Surprisingly drinkable! Might have to get a few more for the weekend to stop everyone raiding "the good stuff" after they've had a few.https://www.aldi.co.uk/cambalala-south-african-pin...

The Friday Aldi trip is becoming something of a habit. We've got a Paella ready meal type thing for dinner later and we're well into a bottle of The Wine Foundry white wine. It's ace. Crisp, zesty and refreshing.
Agree on the Malbec comments. French is quaffable though I prefer to pour half into a chilli or bolognaise sauce then drink the rest while cooking Keith Floyd style. The Argentinian is a fuller flavour and the better wine.
