They're both identical to the Sainsbury's Maris Piper frozen chips and 60/70p a bag cheaper.

Has their cheddar gone a bit downhill? It's all 'coloured' now and the mature stuff doesn't seem as bitey. Have they just changed the labeling and messed with my psychology or is it not as good as it was before?

The regional stuff in the black packets is still great.

Yes I reckon Lidl Cheddar has gone downhill, it's rubbery. Currently trying some from Tesco, better, next is a cheese shop trial.

Yes, they used to do a 28 month old Somerset crunchy cheddar in an opaque packet which seems to have ceased... Not happy..

Had one of the rib eyes last night.
Quite impressed with them.
Stollen bites that’s a yes from me, love them !!
I love their German bratwursts too, especially surrounded by the equally lovely brioche hot dog buns.
The seeded brioche burger Baps are nice too.
Another favourite is the tiffin of caramel shortcakes. Delicious

Boyles Gin from Aldi is really rather nice.

Off to Lidl tomorrow to see if I can get one of those Yorkshire pudding things, fingers crossed.

Because poisoning ourselves with Violet Creams and Chocolate covered Stollen washed down with a selection of decent Gin wasn’t enough, Aldi have pretty looking Gin (and Whiskey) Truffles. £2.99.

This thread seems to be a precursor to a new thread in the Health forum just below this one [strangely], "I seem to have turned into a bloated fat bd after being enticed into the Aldi / Lidl dirty world of sweet tooth addiction" biggrin

But not the Shepherds / Cottage pie - godawful watery tasteless mush.

The 12 days of gin box didn't come in today as scheduled frown

Will pop back Friday morning.

(They'll probably arrive tomorrow and sell out same day hehe )

There's still an annoying absence of annual Amarone in my local store. Had a bottle of its cousin - Valpolicella Ripasso - to serve my dopamine receptors last night. Nicer than last year's IMO.

currently munching on the spiced christmas biscuits, going down a treat!

in non-food matters my fiance is now upset as aldi seem to have stopped doing roll on deodorant and the healthy balance cat food has been out for over a month.
