Has anyone spotted if this bike stand is on sale in the special isles? meant to have come on sale on sunday at ALDI. I only ask as many times I've gone there wanting something that's come out in store..and it's not been there. (or have hint that it was, in the form of an empty shelf)
No help re stock but I have one of these and it's great. Well worth tracking down.twing said:
If I can be bothered, I quite enjoy home made flatbread with some chicken breast strips then drizzled with that... Omnomnom. On a lazier note, Aldi are regularly stocking one-pot meals in the lunchy section with the sandwiches and whatnot. About 1.60 something, they do a pulled pork, a chicken, and a vegetablist one with peanuts. All of them are very tasty and worth a bash.
I improved the vegetable one that I had kicking about the fridge today by stirring it into half a pound of beef mince...

They’re probably Scotland only ambuletz said:
They aren't going to rival McDs no.. but then again they're much cheaper, and something you oven cook. As someone who buys the crispy/battered chicken nuggets from iceland, i can say these are a little better.
Might have to try these Iceland ones. I usually deep fry nugget type things, frozen chips, mozzarella sticks etc, usually helps with the flavour.BrabusMog said:

The chicken strips / chunks at £3 a bag in a various range of different coatings are really good, as is the crispy shredded chicken. (Not nuggets, I know, but worth a look if you’re headed to Iceland)

I usually coat them in a sauce like Franks when cooking them but they also taste great just plain.
I’ll try out that chicken bag in Iceland Toaster Pilot - no point having a chest freezer if it isn’t well stocked

both iceland and asda have frozen 'hot and spicy' wings. they're preatty nice and only need throwing in the oven. pretty much taste just like the hot & spicy wings you get at the hot food counter.
I recently watched a video comparing various wing cooking methods. the one that suprised me (and the cooks) the most was microwaving some wings in a bowl of water for 5min, then throwing it under the grill in the oven to crisp up. can be done in as little as 15minutes. microwaving will cook the rings and render out the fat (which'll seep into the water).
