That looks lovely. Just so hard to find tomatoes that taste of anything at all in the UK... I've given up tbh.
When I was in Spain I was ordering salads all the time because the tomatoes are so flavoursome.
Thanks. We use beef tomatoes, seem to have a bit of substance to them. I agree though, in Italy we get a plate as a side or starter every time, brilliant quality. When I was in Spain I was ordering salads all the time because the tomatoes are so flavoursome.

They do in Portugal, I've no idea if thats the case in UK. They also have a really good fresh butchers counter too.
I think maybe what you call Iceland has absolutely nothing to do with what we call Iceland here. Edit: Ahh... it becomes clear... http://www.foodandwineportugal.com/2011/11/14/icel...
The new Iceland store in Albufeira is not a British Iceland as such. It is run by a Spanish-based company called Overseas, who have an agreement with Iceland to sell their products in Spain, Portugal and the Canary Islands. Unknown to us before we visited, the company also have a deal with Waitrose, so their products appear on the shelves alongside those from Iceland, as well as many well-known British brands.
That's pretty bizarre. In case you didn't know, Waitrose are a very premium supermarket chain in the UK, and Iceland are a... um... very much the opposite.

Yup, I'm British so I understand the difference with each.
I quite like the Iceland store here - I know most of the Iceland frozen stuff is absolute crap, but there are some good things in there. And if you want orange lucozade, irn bru, beans, etc etc is by far the easiest place to get all your British stuff in one go. Its really quite good priced for a lot of things. 1 litre of diluting ribena for 4 euros, 4 pack of caramel dairy milk for 1.50 euros, multi packs of coke and Irn Bru working out about 50 cents a can, beans being 1/4 of the price of a normal supermarket, tins of decent soup for under a euro...
The fresh butchers section is better than those in the normal supermarkets - the piri piri sausages, kofta's, lamb & mint, pork & apple burgers, kebabs etc are all top notch. I haven't tried the steaks yet but I'll give them a go soon.

Love the look of that salad - I'm going to try that.
