First attempt at a Paella on Sunday, pretty pleased with it. Not as many sea creatures as I would have liked personally but the mrs isn't a fan.

Made a curry from scratch last night, quite a spicy one, based on a madras recipe.

I've been making paella of late. Recipe very similar to yours - my Mrs doesn't like fish/shellfish so I have to limit the seafood to prawns. She'll eat those happily.

What's on the menu for tonight? Lobster thermidor aux crevettes with a mornay sauce, garnished with truffle pâté, brandy and a fried egg on top, and spam?

Sneak some rabbit in, see if she notices!

The trick to a good paella is the camermalisation on the bottom lick

I just can't decide what I want to eat tonight. And whether its going to land in this thread, the BBQ one, or the dirty takeaways...

Yum!

Homemade hot wings! Deep fried in a dusting of flour, hot paprika and garlic powder, them tossed in a heated up blend of Franks Hot Sauce, maple syrup, chipotle Tabasco and butter!

Bloody lovely!

And some uncoated for the kids.......

I am loving the new oven. We cooked a pork roast, apple sauce and apple crumble from our own apples all at once. No problem, and space to spare

Made a thing out of a coat hanger and roasting tray, fired up the drum smoker and smoked a chicken. Also had some wings, mango and sweetcorn salsa and new potato salad.
