Tasted of nothing other than the sauce really, crispy nothingness.

Go to try it once and now that I have, I shan't be doing it again, boring food.
A bit like frog leg soup then. All you could taste was garlick.

I was hungover today. I wasn't in the mood to be cleaning grills and lighting charcoal etc but as I'd rubbed the brisket the night before I knew I had to get on with it. I'm glad I did as it was the best I've produced.

Thursday was a lovely day. I spent it tidying the garden, servicing my bike, cleaning out the hens/ducks/quail, doing washing, cleaning the house, washing floors.
And I made this for my children after school... When presented with it their response to me was "so what exactly have you been doing all day" rolleyes

My last evening in Brasov, Romania tonight.

Soup, steak tartare and cheesecake. Very nice indeed.

That Steak Tartare looks like Pork (Mettwurst) and not like Beef to me. I think you were diddled.

Roasted chicken breasts coated in an ad hoc marinade of olive oil, steak seasoning, garlic pepper, and dried chilli flakes

It was actually really rather nice, surprisingly.

Edit: I do realise that it isn't up to the standard of the usual stuff posted here, but it is a photo of my dinner. So nyer.

Mother of God. That's a whole duck crown. Cotters, old boy, you've surpassed yourself.
