Photo of your dinner (vol 2)
Discussion
We got married in Greece a couple of weeks ago, a friend fed and watered us at his Taverna for the reception. Here are a few dinner pics taken whilst away.
Briam was a staple at lunch times.
The local rabbit population took a hit! I will be trying to replicate this through the autumn.
If eating in a group we would pre-order a few chickens between us if passing in the morning.
The chicken were stuffed with aubergine, rice and garlic and served with the potatoes they were cooked on and a bowl of juices. The finest chicken I have ever eaten.
A few evenings were at a nearby fishing villiage.
Our wedding food was simple. A chicken and a leg of lamb served with potatoes, bread and buttered greens on each table of eight. I wanted it to be very informal dining with people talking, drinking whilst carving and grabbing more of the meat/veg/cooking juices.
The lamb was amazing!
I thought I would share some food pics on here anyway whilst nursing the holiday blues. No doubt I will be posting my own take on a few of the dishes.

Looks great. How did you achieve a Tandoor-like finish? The breast was still dry even after a 24hr brine and 20 mins cooking time. (I may need to sous vide it next time)
