Its either their latest special the bacon clubhouse or its one of their three signature range burgers that are only available from select outlets mostly around London.

It's a bacon club house double as mentioned. I think it must be more widely available now as I'm in the Black Country. For completeness the last picture is bangers (pork & leek) with horseradish mash and spring onion gravy

It's a shame the PH cooking competition for curry recently ended.

smile The only way this could have won this was if there was an Oscar style screw up with the envelopes.

To be fair this was completely experimental, I thought the seafood sticks would be non existent in a curry, so I chose Korma, to give them a fighting chance, however they did quite well and you could use a mid range curry heat wise with them and they would still taste just like a crab, sorry seafood thing. With 3 claws and 7 eyes that needs to see a dentist.

I don't want to seem a cheapskate but they might be quite a good "filler" to bulk out a proper seafood curry if you have guests.

"What are the lovely long white strands?"

"Shaved lobster claws "

Hey just check the picture quality ! The eyes don't lie. I do wonder sometimes with my posts if we need a "Show us a picture of your dirty dinner" thread that combined the takeaway one and here. Hmmmm.

I suppose so. My parents will sometimes make a curry using whelks and mussells. Been ages since ive eaten seafood sticks, though I prefer them in a salad.

A Turner and George brisket point bought online and delivered by DPD.

Great flavour and tenderness from this fatty cut. Will be ordering again.
