You have no idea what budget I am operating on.
Fair enough.

But then you could probably have knocked together a "proper" sauce for a similar amount of money, e.g. carbonara, tomato sauce, arrabbiata, norma, tuna, amatriciana, gricia etc etc.

Buying ready made sauce in a jar is a false economy...

Top right on the starter pic is DEFINITELY a deep fried baby rabbit. And now that I've seen it, I'm wondering what baby rabbits taste like... confused

Had family round yesterday for my birthday dinner, did a big kleftico staring a 2.5kg leg of lamb, Cyprus potatoes and lots of smoked garlic. It was cooked on the barbecue (indirect) for 4 hours, wrapped in foil, then browned off with some fresh bay thrown on the coals (thanks for that tip Juice from my bay thread last week).

Plonked on the table and enjoyed, plenty of cooking juices left for mopping up with crusty bread.

Particularly like the ravioli and did something similar to the lamb but with a lambs liver soufflé which was something a bit different, not really into panna cotta but home made donuts... yes
