Murder kebab*. It was huge. I couldn't finish it, despite having been at work for something like 15 hours. For scaling purposes, each section of the baton is 7 inches, so 21 inches overall length for the extended (over, missus) baton. I failed to properly capture the height.

A "Murder kebab" is simply a kebab consumed while working on a murder enquiry.
Bonus baton points there as well as man points for the back story around the name, must be a real treat while looking over gory crime scene photos.

hehe She needs telling off! nono
Where's the PH opprobrium for purchasing a supermaket value brand of peanut butter rather than the most expensive, most branded item from, at least, Waitrose.

Disappointed.

Have you heard of the expression "kicking a man whilst he is down"? That photo had too much that needed criticising to do it all in one go.

As a side note, is the missus pregnant? Can't understand why anyone would eat chips and peanut butter.

From memory, is that the Cavendish Kebab effort?

Drove past there at the weekend, and that image was all I could think of.
Indeed it is, that's some good memory skills there vlad, posted that about three years ago!

I see that I am not going to live this down unless I do something big to make up for it. I made a nice cheese burger for dinner last night, complete with lettuce and tomato. Am I doing this right??? burger

As for the Mrs being up the duff, most definitely not....I think yikes

Is she Dutch? It's quite normal to have Satay sauce on chips over here.

I perhaps shouldn't be so flippant. Certainly the first couple of days of any major enquiry consist of long hours, little respite, intense pressure, inappropriate fits of the giggles, complete boredom, frustration, immense satisfaction and crushing, crashing lows - sometimes one after the other in quick succession. The only (general) certainty is that you'll be starting work at 6, 7 or 8 am... And no idea what time you'll be finishing. 12-14 hour shifts and cancelled days off are the norm. 16, 18 or 20 hour shifts aren't unusual. So to be able to get 10 or 20 minutes out of it and something to eat is an absolute necessity, even if it is garbage food.

It isn't flippant, most of us could only guess (badly) at how it feels to be involved in such things, so it would be churlish to criticise for how you eat and/or get through such things.
HOWEVER, Cucumber and other shubbery? There needs to be some sort on inquiry into that!
